Attend Events
Attend Events is a Joomla component for managing registrations to events (called sessions for historical reasons). It is a fork of the Mambo component Events Sessions. You can customise the registration form to each session, allowing you to collect additional information about your attendees.
Optional Features
  • Registered attendees can leave publicly viewable comments (much like eVite)
  • Automatic capacity management for sessions with limited availability.
  • Store the address information of frequently used venues.
Integration
  • If Community Builder is installed, you can configure Attend Events to automatically complete the registration form based on a user's profile.
  • If you want a calendar interface on the front-end, Attend Events can interface with JEvents using the Attend Events module. The relationship between sessions in Attend Events and events in JEvents is designed around the conference/workshop model. The event in JEvents would be the conference, during which several workshops may take place (each with or without a finite capacity).
