Auto_archiver is a very simple plugin that sets up automatic articles archiving process based on articles section/category and age/count. You can also specify a minimum number of articles to be let published.
For exemple, you can set up archiving of all articles of section A older than 6 months. Or simply, all articles of section A beyond 10 articles published.
The advantage of this method is that you do not have to specify a archive date for each content item, so you can control the archive process from the plugin interface for a given section.
