| Description |
Donation Thermometer is Joomla module
displaying an updateable image of a red
thermometer simlar to what you would
have seen at Church fundraising drives.
The original module was based on a
script creation of Arkie.Net requiring
GD Library for the image creation.
However due to problems with some
people's server configurations I
decided to rework the module to
eliminate the need for GD Library. The
width, height, funding goal, current
amount raised, date last updated and
currency can all be adjusted in the
module's parameters. As well as a few
other options including caching, module
suffix, html pre-text and post-text.
This has been my first attempt at a
joomla extension so go easy on me :) If
you know how to improve this module
(like intergration with a paypal IPN)
please please let me know.
