The Joom!Fish project for international websites

Providing a site in more than one language is basically pretty simple as long as you have only HTML. From the moment you are using a mixture of static text and dynamic content it gets a bit tricky.

The Joom!Fish extension provides you with the possibility to translate your whole website into as many languages as you like. The generic solution helps you to translate your articles, menus, modules and any other information in your site. With the extension you can also keep track of your translation process and find changed originals that may need an updated translations.

Current version for Joomla 2.5 is version 2.5.1

JoomFish 2.2 public release

The JoomFish team is happy to announce the immediate availability of the current stable release for the Joomla 1.5 series. The version 2.2 is dedicated to the transition from Joomla 1.5 towards the 2.5 code base and databases.

Joom!Fish 2.1.7 release

The Joom!Fish team just completed a maintenance release for the 2.1.x series. This release includes several minor bug fixes as well as some small enhancements are included in this new version.

Joom!Fish 2.1.5 public release

The Joom!Fish development team is proud to announce the public release of Joom!Fish 2.1.5. With this release the team fixed a series of bugs reported in the past via the various channels. Further more we improved the release to be completely compatible with PHP 5.3 and the current Joomla 1.5 versions.

Description
This is the next generation of the internationalization (i18n) support for dynamic content within Joomla!. Joom!Fish (or JoomFish or just the Fish) was formally known as MambelFish and enables you to translate and maintain all dynamic information within your multilingual website. The Joom!Fish provides you with a interface to support your manual translation process. It is captable to give you the possibilities to translate all of your dynamic content.
