 Menu Dependent Items is a native Joomla! 1.5, 1.6, 1.7 and 2.5 module that allows you to show an image or load a css file dependent on the active or the parent or parents parent ... menu item.
It is great for e.g. to show different header images or change the colors of headlines, borders and backgrounds or even change the complete view of your site by letting the module load different style sheets depending on the active menu and the menus structure.
Once the module is set up, you simply have to save an image or style sheet to the configured folder and give it the name of the desired menu items ItemID.

How the module works:
It searches for a file named like the
currend menu ItemID having the file
extension as configured in the modules
settings. If no file could be found it
searches for a file named like the
parent menus ItemID and so on.
It is usefull for e.g. to change the
header image or the color of the
article titles (or everything else you
can do by css) depending on the menu
structure.
