I am very well aware of the strong demand for the 1.5 Native module.
It is actually being worked on right now and should be released in early September the latest.
This delay is due to other activities going on right now. Such as some commercial design work and another Joomla project, in addition to the day job of central banking system programming.

A new Beta 1 version has been released that includes just a bit of addition to prevent snooping into the module's folder via backend.
You may have problems just deleting the module from your Joomla Admin panel.

One issue remains: How to clean up the files automatically whenever uninstalling?
