EOL for phpGedView for Joomla! component

2011-02-20phpGedView for Joomla! has reached its End-of-Life (EOL) and there will be no further support nor development on this component.
Most of the former phpGedView developers (including me) have founded a new team developing a new software called webtrees. This software is close to version 1.1 release.

phpGedview for Joomla! v1.4.3 released

2009-04-26Version 1.4.3 of the phpGedView for Joomla! component is available now. It is tested to be compatible with phpGedview 4.1.6, 4.1.7, 4.2 and 4.2.1.
You are strongly encouraged to update, if you are running a version prior to v1.4.2.
This version has some smaller changes, bugfixes and updates to the documentation.

2009-03-21Version 1.4.2 Stable of the phpGedView for Joomla! component is now available. It is tested to be compatible with phpGedview 4.1.6, 4.1.7 and 4.2.
You are strongly encouraged to update.
This version has enhancements in secure communication for the single sign on between Joomla! and phpGedView. Please read carefully the included readme.txt to securely configure your installation.

phpGedview for Joomla! v1.3 Stable released

2008-05-11Version 1.3 Stable of the phpGedView component is now available. It enables installation and work in Joomla! 1.5 native mode in production environments now and no longer needs the legacy plugin.
This version has enhancements in secure communication for the single sign on between Joomla! and phpGedView. Please take care for installing the new secret key.

Patch for new phpGedView version 4.1.4

2008-03-14For phpGedview 4.1.4 or higher you have to replace the mosgedview.php by the file mosgedview_414.php to reflect changes in the access to the users table in 4.1.4. This file is available for version 1.2.4 for Joomla 1.0.x and for version 1.2.5 for Joomla 1.5.x.
